adsense 336 280 format shows url next to title

Google Adsense latest update to Ads already makes more money for publishers and brings more traffic to advertisers. Today, I jumped off my seat whan I realized that all my adsense ads 336×280 are showing the destination url next to the ads title.

Don’t be alarmed if your Google ads look strange since a couple of days.
It’s good news in fact, just check your stats and you should see your CTR, Ecpm and revenue going up!

As you can read in Google blog: New look for adsense for content The Google team has tested this new format of Ads and it’s a win-win for publishers and advertisers.

Web users like it and the ads are going to stay as they now are.
To get the best out of the new ads format I suggest you use the same color for the URL and the text, while keeping the title color that you had originally chosen.
This small trick can be done in an instant from your Google Adsense account, section manage my ads.

Online marketing tips

Online marketing is the activity of promoting a website, a product or a service on the web.

There are many online marketing tools to choose from.
You need to pick marketing tactics that best suit your needs, personality and passion.

It is quite possible to throw away a lot of money on online advertising that doesn’t work.
Many have done this, spending thousands of dollars with unefficient Google Adwords PPC campaigns.
(PPC = Pay Per Click)

Adwords works great but the day you stop paying, traffic flow stops.

A smart entrepreneur may make the occasional mistake, but he or she can not repeat those errors. Remember that just because a marketing outlet is free of charge, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is “free.” After all, if you are expending a good deal of time and effort on an avenue of online promotion that is ultimately unproductive, you have misused your time. And as everyone knows, time is money.

For successful online marketing it is essential to know what avenues are working and which ones are not.
Thus, before rushing out and using an online marketing tool that everyone else is using, consider your unique plan of action. Think about how you are going to promote your goods or services, and what kinds of individuals you are promoting them to.

Spend some time contemplating the profile of your ideal customer. Where would this potential customer most likely be spending his or her time online? What potential keywords would this person be entering into the search engines?

You want to identify the answers to these questions. Once you have developed the profile of your ideal customer, you can more easily find out what type of marketing would be best suited this type of person.

The bottom line is that your online marketing tactics must be flexible and adapted to your specific needs. Always keep a keen eye on your target audience.

The most elaborate and robust online marketing plan is worthless if proper strategy and tactics are not employed.

And if you do make a mistake in your initial strategy, that is fine. Just do your best to modify and move in a new more productive direction.

Is working from home really for you?

Working from home might not suit everyone.

Make money online blogging about travelling. The quality of work made form home is sometimes not as good as when supervised in an office.

When you start working for yourself you quickly find out if working by yourself at home is for you or not.

You work harder because you want to succed or you become lazy because you need supervision and you are used to being disciplined by a direct manager.

Some people get depressed because the feel lonely. They want to socialize at work. They are used to being part of a winning team and getting praised by the individuals who run the business.

I have been there.
I know what I’m talking about, I’ve been there.
I have been an employee, working 9 to 5 in a cubicle and now enjoy working from home and working while travelling (with my family).

And you know what? I wouldn’t go back for any reasons, and I won’t go back because making money online is getting easier and easier.

Is working from home really for you?
Here is a quick list of questions to ask your self in order to find out if working from home is really for you:

- Do you enjoy working every day 8-10 hours to make others rich (and getting praise and payrise)?

- Will you miss waking up every day at 6:00 am and getting stuck in the traffic jams?

- Do you like pressure and having to obey orders all day long?

- Do you spend enough time with your family?

I think you get the point, working from home is plain good, you might make a little bit less money at first but it’s still a good deal.

Don’t worry about the money.
Don’t be surprised if you start making more money than what used to be your net salary after a couple of months building websites and optimizing your ads placement.

It takes about six months for a website I have created to start making real money. I start a couple of websites every other month, get a couple of pages indexed and get back to it later when the submissions to directories are live.

I work at my pace, I am less stressed than before, nicer with everyone and the best part is I can take care of my online job anywhere in the world.

I don’t have to rush back to the city fearing my employer. I am not scared of losing my job or losing key accounts.

When you start creating websites, you start piling up, accumulating week after week, webpages and websites that make money through Google Adsense advertising.
